We are first and foremost a bakery specializing in unique and old world recipes created with a modern twist, offering a wide variety of options to suit the needs of each and every customer. We use fresh and local ingredients and pride ourselves on making sure each item is of the highest standard. We also offer a beautiful menu for each meal of the day as well as a catering and special event program. As with our desserts, we also claim the same for our cocktails and beverages. We offer unique and crafted libations dating back before prohibition as well as spirits, wine, and beer from local distilleries, vineyards, and breweries. We pride ourselves on making sure each guest's experience is one of comfort, satisfaction, and delight. We stride to excite our guest in our food and drink in a way that we ourselves are. We are determined to make our place of business similar to a second home for both our employees and our guests. We are blessed with an incredibly talented staff both in the kitchen and behind the bar and we look forward to serving our guests and community.

I have Jeni's Splendid Ice Cream book and, like you, found the sugar content to be relatively high. I typically use a scant 1/2 c. instead of the 2/3 c. used as the base measure for most of the recipes in the book....
